Information you provide

Depending on how you use Kedesa, you may provide information such as your name, email address, phone number, account credentials, profile information, business name and business details, addresses or service areas, listing information, deal details, photos, announcements, community posts, Kedesa Connect information, messages, support requests, reports, and other content you submit.

Location and marketplace activity

Kedesa may process location information you provide or select, including city, state, ZIP code, search location, or geographic coordinates when a location-based feature requires them. We may also process searches, viewed content, clicks, marketplace interactions, deal activity, and other usage information so local results and marketplace features can function.

Payments and purchases

When you purchase an eligible Kedesa plan, add-on, or promotional feature, Kedesa may receive and retain transaction information such as the product purchased, amount, order or subscription status, payment-provider identifiers, and transaction timestamps. Payment card fields are handled by our payment provider. Kedesa does not store your full card number.

Device and technical information

Like most online services, Kedesa may receive technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, referring pages, timestamps, cookies, session information, diagnostic events, and security logs.

We use information to operate and improve Kedesa, including to:

• create and maintain accounts, profiles, business listings, and marketplace content;
• provide local search, deals, discovery, Kedesa Connect, Deal Demand, announcements, community features, business tools, and related marketplace functions;
• process eligible purchases, subscriptions, add-ons, credits, and promotional placements;
• send transactional, account, moderation, support, and service-related communications;
• help businesses understand marketplace activity and customer interest where Kedesa provides those tools;
• detect fraud, abuse, security issues, duplicate or misleading content, and violations of Kedesa rules;
• review reports, verify eligible business information, administer moderation, and protect the platform;
• measure performance, understand feature usage, troubleshoot errors, and improve Kedesa; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce Kedesa's agreements.

Kedesa is a marketplace, so some information is intended to be public. Business profiles, business names, listing details, deal information, public photos, community posts, local announcements, ratings or other public-facing marketplace content may be visible to other users and may be indexed or shared outside Kedesa depending on how the service is used.

Do not publish sensitive personal information in public content unless you intend for it to be publicly available.

Kedesa may share information when reasonably necessary to provide or protect the service, including with:

• Service providers that support hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, security, payment processing, or other platform operations.
• Businesses or community participants when you intentionally use a feature that connects you with them or submit information meant to be shared.
• Payment providers when a purchase requires secure payment processing.
• Authorities or other parties when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, users, Kedesa, or the public.
• A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.

Kedesa is intentionally local. Location information may be used to show nearby businesses, deals, services, community activity, announcements, marketplace demand, and other local opportunities. Some features may be less useful or unavailable if location information is not provided.

You should provide only the level of location detail appropriate for the feature. Public community content should not include a precise private residence address unless you intentionally want that location published, such as for a yard sale or event.

Kedesa may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences and local search settings, support security, maintain sessions, understand platform usage, and improve performance. Browser settings may allow you to limit certain storage technologies, but some features may not work correctly without them.

When Kedesa receives a supported Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, Kedesa places that browser into an essential-only privacy mode for non-essential analytics and marketing or advertising tracking. Cookies and similar technologies reasonably necessary for account access, security, payments, local marketplace functionality, messaging, preferences, and other services you request may continue to operate.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Kedesa, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods can vary based on the type of information and why it is needed.

Kedesa uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their passwords, devices, and account access.

You may be able to update certain account or business information through Kedesa. You can also contact Kedesa to ask about access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights or require specific handling of your request.

Global Privacy Control

Kedesa recognizes supported GPC signals sent by a browser or browser extension. When a GPC signal is received, Kedesa disables non-essential deal-view measurement, marketing attribution, and supported third-party analytics or advertising tracking for that browser while preserving storage and processing reasonably necessary to provide requested Kedesa features.

Some information may need to be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, transaction records, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or other legitimate operational reasons.

Kedesa is intended for adults age 18 and over and is not designed for minors. We do not knowingly seek personal information from minors. Business accounts and paid business services are intended for adults who are legally able to enter into the applicable agreement.

Kedesa may update this Privacy Policy as the platform changes. When we make a material update, we may revise the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
